Die Künstlerin und Kuratorin Claire Astier war bei uns im Mai und Juni 2021 zusammen mit Ahram Lee als Artist in Residence zu Gast. Sie ließ uns eine bei normaler Beleuchtung unsichtbare Arbeit zurück: mit einem Schwarzlicht-aktiven Stift hatte sie Wände und den Vorhang des FLORIDA beschrieben. Claire Astier arbeitete als Aktivistin zwei Jahre (2018–2020) in einem besetzten Haus in Marseille, das mit und für Obdachlose eröffnet wurde und dadurch kam sie auch mit der Situation und Lebensgeschichten von Migrant*innen im kulturellen Bereich in Berührung. Von dieser Zeit, von Wünschen, Fragen und Sorgen, erzählen die hier nachlesbaren Gespräche. Die Installation ist einsehbar bis die Wände wieder überstrichen werden.

In May and June 2021 the artist and curator Claire Astier was our guest together with Ahram Lee as Artist in Residence. She left us a work invisible in normal lighting: with a blacklight pen she had written on walls and the curtain of FLORIDA. Claire Astier worked as an activist for two years (2018-2020) in a squat in Marseille, which was opened with and for homeless people, and through this she also came into contact with the situation and life stories of migrants in the cultural field. The conversations she had recorded then can be read here. They tell of this time, of desires, questions and concerns. The installation is on view until the walls are repainted.
