Im Rahmen unseres Support Your Local Artist and Activist-Formats möchten wir euch zur Ausstellung Kabelbinder*innen – shocking times von Levin Mayerhofer und Cordula Schieri einladen.
Levin Mayerhofer zeigt intime Einblicke in den Alltag eines Trans*manns.
Cordula Schieri verhandelt Geschlechterrollen in ihren Objekten und Installationen, die zudem Aspekte von Arbeit(sbedingungen) hinterfragen.
Cordula Schieri studierte bei Katrin Brack Bühnenbild und bei Alexandra Bircken Freie Kunst. Sie arbeitet als erste weibliche Person als künstlerische Mitarbeiterin in der Bronzewerkstatt der Akademie der Bildenden Künste München.
Levin Mayerhofer beschäftigt sich mit dem Weg der Selbstfindung und zeigt intime Einblicke in den Alltag eines Trans*manns. Aufklärung und Bewältigung von Vorurteilen stehen im Mittelpunkt. Derzeit ist er Student an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in München.

As part of our Support Your Local Artist and Activist format we would like to invite you to the exhibition Kabelbinder*innen – shocking times by Levin Mayerhofer and Cordula Schieri.
Levin Mayerhofer shows intimate insights into the everyday life of a trans* man.
Cordula Schieri negotiates gender roles in her objects and installations, which also question aspects of work(ing conditions).
Cordula Schieri studied stage design with Katrin Brack and free art with Alexandra Bircken. She is the first female to work as an artistic associate in the bronze workshop of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich.
Levin Mayerhofer deals with the path of self-discovery and shows intimate insights into the everyday life of a trans* man. Raising awareness and overcoming prejudices are the focus. He is currently a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
