On Nov 30th 7 pm Rindon will present a talk about his recent works and his upcoming pendant exhibitions at SculptureCenter (New York) and Chisenhale Gallery (London). Both exhibitions center themselves around questions of form, water rights, trans rights, unknown historical narratives and the multivalent nature of bodies in and out of digital space. In addition, Johnson will speak about his recent research on Virtual Reality, discussing the various linguistic principles and failures that animate his work.

The workshop on Dec 7 is mainly for students of the Academy. But if you would like to join, be quick and write an email to Marietta Kesting, kesting@adbk.mhn.de. For the workshop, Johnson and the participants will create a distance writing group together. Jumping off of Johnson’s writing prompt for Wendy’s Subway, Participants will be asked to prepare a poem of any length, style or format to share with the group. Participants must register and send their poems by 30 November so as to give their fellow participants enough time to provide feedback in time for the workshop on 7 December. Johnson will also be offering a new poem for the workshop.

Organized in cooperation with the team of the women’s representative, Academy of Fine Arts Munich
