Workshop zu E-Mail-Verschlüsselung von Digitalcourage

Angesichts der erneuten Vorstöße, Ende-zu-Ende-verschlüsselte Kommunikation über staatliche Hintertüren in „responsible encryption“ und damit dysfunktionale Verschlüsselung zu verwandeln, wollen wir dich zu einem Workshop zu E-Mail-Verschlüsselung einladen.
Wir werden dabei das dezentrale Konzept der E-Mail-Verschlüsselung via PGP anschauen und auf unseren Rechnern einrichten. Dafür haben wir einen virtuellen Crypto-Abend geplant, den die Ortsgruppe München von Digitalcourage leiten wird.
Zuerst wird es eine Einführung in PGP geben und wie das alles funktioniert und anschließend werden wir das gleich umsetzen und Keys erstellen, sodass wir uns am Ende verschlüselte Mails hin- und herschicken können.
Das ganze ist für Thunderbird am Desktop-PC/Laptop konzipiert. Bitte installiere dir im Vorfeld eine aktuelle Thunderbird-Version und richte dort schonmal dein existierendes oder ein neues E-Mail-Konto ein.

In view of the renewed attempts to turn end-to-end encrypted communication via government backdoors into „responsible encryption“ and thus dysfunctional encryption, we want to invite you to a workshop on email encryption.
We will look at the decentralized concept of email encryption via PGP and set it up on our computers. For this we have planned a virtual crypto evening, which will be led by the Munich chapter of Digitalcourage.
First there will be an introduction to PGP and how it works and then we will implement it and create keys so that we can send encrypted mails back and forth.
The whole thing is designed for Thunderbird on desktop PC/laptop. Please install a current version of Thunderbird and set up your existing or a new email account.

The workshop will be held in German language.
